Project 1 in the bag

Almost half done with the Summer course and I gotta tell ya, it is intense.  I haven’t been able to play video games or watch tv in almost a week.  Argh!  Anyway, it’s a good thing I enjoy doing web stuff or may have gone insane.  Here’s to one more week and then vacation.

Summer classes are not fun

First week of summer classes and I feel like I have been mauled by a bear.  It is so hard to get up in the morning, unfortunately that little piece of paper that I got last Saturday depends on it.  DAMN YOU REQUIREMENTS.

Last week of class

Last week of class.  Hard to imagine  its almost over, but it is.  I have one summer course but then I will officially be done with school.  On top of that OTAs for football starts and there’s like 30 new video games coming out this summer.  I have no idea where to start and what to do first.  This summer is going to be awesome.

7 days and counting

7 days until the BFA show.  I have all my stuff hung and ready to go so now we play the waiting game.  I have an online portfolio to finish and a lot of stuff to re work before the 29th.  The end is in site…now its just a matter getting there.

Whew Doggy

So I finally finished my self-directed project for 414.  I had a critique on it last Thursday and I think for the most part it went over pretty well.  My zombie apocalypse site did pretty well also.  So now its time to focus on the BFA show.  Everything is printed and framed I just have to set it up.  I also need to focus on getting my web portfolio done.  But aside from the usual stress I think things are going ok.  On top of school being almost over, Draft day is almost here which marks the beginning of football season.  The only sport besides hockey really worth watching.

Almost Done

I can’t believe it is almost April already.  Almost done for the summer, and almost done permanently.  It is going to be a stressful month, but when it’s over I think I’ll miss it.  I think I’ll miss all of it.  From the long drive everyday to the long hours in the labs.  Ahh memories.

Spring Break: Day 1

What an uneventful day…it was perfect.  I sat in front of my tv and watched Burn Notice re-runs.  Bruce Campbell is the man!  I did finally buy web space and a domain name.  Look for www.dorkfishcreative.com in the near future.  Here’s to 6 more days of nothingness.

Spring Break

One week until spring break and I think my brain has leaked out of my nose.  My XBox is collecting dust and I have $200 worth of video games that I haven’t even touched.  Screw Cancun, I’m staying in front of my tv.

My experimentaion with CSS (aka ex.4)

So this was my experimentation with CSS and style sheets.  It was so much easier than using tables.  So the advance in Web begins.  Check out my sweet penguin here.

The crappiest month of the year

February sucks, plain and simple.  So much work and so little time.  Just counting down the weeks until graduation.

Thought of the week:  Blue is not a vegetable, but it is very nice.
